A pioneer of agri-food development in the Gaspésie region, La Mie has been offering environmentally-friendly products since 1997, of exceptional quality in a warm and friendly place, while promoting the local and wild products of the Gaspé region. The bakery produces breads, pastries, pastries, gelatos and sorbets with very special flavors that have made their popularity in Baie-des-Chaleurs. Her team is creative and dynamic, but also very proud to work with Gaspesian companies and other regions of Quebec.The flours used are all Quebec or organic and come from the Milanese Milling, the Moulin Hubert Lacoste and the Minoterie des Anciens . Our products are high-end and no preservatives are added. Many breads and baguettes are certified by Ecocert Canada as being wholly organic products and the flours we use are all high quality organic flours, as are the fruits and nuts used. No preservatives are added to our products; they only contain the essential basic ingredients. Our breads are made with great attention to consistency in quality, and have always been. We offer more than a dozen standard breads and baguettes. We make breads in molds and loaves. The mold gives a rectangular bread while the loaf is round or oblong. We offer a coating of sunflower or sesame seeds for some varieties.
