Cidrerie Verger Pedneault

In 1918, thanks to a government grant, the Pedneault family planted the first 300 apple trees and fruit trees on its ancestral land of Isle-aux-Coudres in Charlevoix. Since that year, many milestones and successes have punctuated the history of the family business that has continued to grow. The year 1999 marked the history of the company in a more significant way with the appearance of a cellar, a vinegar and a cider house then allowing the company to market new products developed such as cider and its derivatives, mistelles, and vinegar. In 2007, the company proudly won several awards at the Quebec City Gastronomy Festival. 8 of their products can be purchased at most SAQ stores and more than 150 grocery stores. Cidrerie and Verger Pedneault has also been part of the Économusées network since 2003.

The picking of apples alone, with family or group, at the Cidrerie and Verger Pedneault is possible in September and October depending on the variety. Access to orchards is allowed by car or bus to facilitate your travel.

U-pick apple is a nice way to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of Charlevoix and L’isle-aux-Coudres
