Épicéa vinaigrettes stand out from other similar products, not only because of their exquisite taste and unique to the flavors of the boreal forest, but above all, by the people who prepare them.
The six vinaigrettes and chilli jelly are made by Cristal (Center for Recovery and Integration in Mental Health), a unique center in Quebec whose mission is to welcome people with a mental health problem or mental illness to help them navigate their recovery process.
It is the men, women, children and families who frequent the Crystal and according to their path, who make all the products Spruce, under the supervision of the Augustinian Sisters of Dolbeau-Mistassini, religious community at the origin of this work. This small agri-food production plant is located in the Augustinian Center and meets all the standards imposed by the MAPAQ.
