Jeunes au Travail

About

Every year, during the growing season, the Farm for Young Labor supplies several families with organic vegetables through its CSA basket formula (Community Supported Agriculture). The principle is simple: our partners pay their share of the harvest in advance and we commit ourselves to make the weekly delivery for a period of 20 weeks, from mid-June to the end of October.

The Kiosk: open from the beginning of harvest in mid-June to the end of October, our kiosk offers a wide variety of fresh organic vegetables grown on site, fruits, herbs, eggs, ready-made meals and products from terroir (jams, ketchups, marinades, honeys, pestos and many others).

The Young Labor Farm is a community organization that invites young Laval dropouts aged 16 to 25 to develop their personal, professional and social skills. Support in their personal journey is through a pathway combining learning and work experience. For example, the Young Labor Farm is aimed at integrating young people into the job market or returning to school.

Through the fruits of their efforts, the organization develops a variety of quality products and services related to organic agriculture, agri-food processing, customer service, and the manufacture of furniture and wooden objects.
