Les Îles en ville

About

Les Îles en ville is the Îles-de-la-Madeleine in Montreal!
It is a warm, friendly and family place where one finds as much the culinary specialties, the music, the culture, the products of the Earth, the Islands and especially the good humor and the joie de vivre of the Madelinots!

Anyone who walks through the door of this establishment discovers the great sense of hospitality of the people of the Islands, fed with adventure and salt air. Les Îles en ville is the dream of Ginette, daughter of Maurice in Armand to Antonio Painchaud, of the island of Havre Aubert in the Magdalen Islands.

Verdun is the capital of the Madelinots of the continent and the restaurant Les Îles in town, their favorite stopover.
The owner and most of the restaurant staff are native to the Magdalen Islands. The Resto-Bistro Les Îles in town has been open since November 2008 and so far, 50% of its clientele is made up of Madelinots, and the rest comes from all over the world.
It can be enjoyed in seasons, the famous lobster of the Magdalen Islands served in many ways.

Les Îles en ville is the only typical Madelinot restaurant in the metropolis. And one of the only ones where we serve Le Loup-Marin.
If you want to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of its islanders and savor the authentic cuisine of the Magdalen Islands, it’s the Islands in the city that happens.
